Welcome to El Rinconcito Mexican Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled on Samuell Boulevard in Dallas, Texas. With a charming, family-owned atmosphere, this restaurant serves as your portal to the heart of Mexico through its mouth-watering dishes. Just as many have remarked, stepping into El Rinconcito feels akin to teleporting to a cozy eatery in Michoacán, where the air is fragrant with the rich aromas of authentic Mexican cooking.
The menu is diverse, offering everything from traditional breakfasts like Huevos Rancheros at just $5.99 to savory Enchiladas filled with pollo or cecina, priced affordably starting at $8.00. Diners rave about the homemade corn tortillas that elevate every meal, making each bite an explosion of flavor. Paulina Padilla encapsulated the experience perfectly when she noted the delightful chaos of staff conversing as you indulge in hearty portions of steaming Menudo.
The charm of El Rinconcito lies not just in the food but in its atmosphere as well. Patrons have described it as a “true hole in the wall,” where tables may be scarce, but the authenticity and warmth are abundant. As Paloma aptly puts it, “you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.” Although the service may be laid-back, the joy derived from the food and the ambiance outweigh any imperfections in service. Jetton Hughes highlights the personal touch from the staff; their welcoming attitude makes every visitor feel like family, contributing to the cozy dining experience.
The outdoor seating beckons on warm days, providing ample space for diners to enjoy their meals amidst an artful backdrop. While some have noted that the restaurant can get quite warm, with only fans circulating air, the comfort is part of the casual charm that encapsulates El Rinconcito.
With a focus on authentic flavors paired with affordable prices and a BYOB policy, El Rinconcito Mexican Restaurant invites you to come hungry and ready for a delicious experience. Remember, this spot operates strictly on cash, so come prepared to dive into the vibrant tastes that await you. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant deserves a slot on your culinary bucket list!

If you could teleport to a hole in the wall restaurant in Michoacán, this is it. You are greeted by the strong smell of Menudo and staff laughing and conversing between one another. The food is very authentic and delicious.

True hole in the wall spot. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. This is real authentic Mexican food. The enchiladas are my favorite. This is a family owned spot and the staff is friendly but don’t expect good service. Just come here for the delicious foods. Also, BYOB and CASH ONLY, you’re welcome!

New favorite "hole in the wall" AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant. It's frustrating waiting for a table (It's so good)... so if that bothers you, don't bother. Corn tortillas are home made and fluffy.

** This is a must visit ** ** They only take cash ** I love Mexican breakfast so you will get a lot of reviews from Mexican restaurants unless I am with my family. The small restaurants are the best!! When I walked in the gentleman at the register treated me like I was family coming to eat breakfast. He said... What would you like? I told him Huevos Rancheros and he said ok go sit down. He then came and asked me how would I like my eggs and would I like rice and beans? I was like Ooooww yes this is the spot. Now when the food came it looked delicious!! The food tasted amazing!! Homemade everything. Come visit this place!! It is ducked off near a side road so slow down because you will miss it. When you drive in the gated. lot is small but there are some amazing art that will catch your eye. The restaurant is small but clean and cozy. I enjoyed myself!!
